The Kroc Center will be following all local & state guidelines as it comes to the COVID-19 virus. Below are some of the steps we are taking within our facility to help keep our members, guests, and staff safe. Some areas of our facility, member/guest offerings, and programming may be affected during this time.
Wellness Screening: Visitors are asked to perform a self wellness check upon entry. Seniors and members of vulnerable populations, including those with underlying health conditions, are encouraged to take extra caution.
Face Masks: Please wear a mask over your nose and mouth while indoors during your visit to The Kroc Center. Masks are not required for children under age 5, or for those who have medical conditions.
Stay Home if You’re Sick: Members, visitors, and staff should stay home if they don’t feel well. If you answer yes to any of the following, you should stay home:
• Do you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills or sneezing?
• Have you had any contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
Equipment: Bring your own water bottle, towel, and exercise mat.
Cleaning Equipment: Continue to wipe down equipment with the provided cleaner and paper towels located at the disinfecting stations before and after your workout.
Shared Amenities Temporarily Unavailable: Water fountains are not available for use at this time.
Classes: Select programs and classes are available: Purchase Classes.
The City & County of Honolulu has moved into Tier 3 of the CIty's Reopening Strategy. In response, the Kroc Center will implement the following changes:
Member Capacity (effective immediately:
Member Time Blocks (effective March 1): 90-minute time blocks for Aquatic Center, Fitness Center & FitGO Zone will be eliminated and we will transition to longer open swim or open workout time slots with deep cleaning scheduled periodically during the day. Specific time slots by department can be view on our March Schedule.
Family Locker Rooms (effective March 8): Family locker rooms (FLR) will be available for member use. Members can request access from Aquatics, Health & Wellness or Member Services staff. FLR will remain locked while not in use.
Kroc Dance Academy & Ha'a Hula In-Person Classes (effective March 8): Class capacity will increase to (9) participants per (1) instructor. Hybrid model classes continue to be available for those preferring to participate from home,
Effective immediately, per the May 25, 2021 update to the State's mask mandate, members, guests, program participants and staff are no longer required to wear a face mask while outdoors on Kroc Center Hawaii property. Face masks covering the nose and mouth are still required in all indoor areas of the Kroc Center.
With the City & County of Honolulu's recent transition into Tier 4 of its reopening plan, Kroc Center Hawaii will be implementing the following operational changes.
Effective Monday, June 14, 2021:
Guest Pass Sales:
Guest pass sales will resume to non-members at the following rates: $18/adults, $15/seniors, $14/youth. Kroc members may purchase up to (5) guest passes at the member-sponsored rate of 50% off the regular price (member must be present). Guest pass purchases must be made in-person at the Member Services Desk on a first come, first serve basis. Guest passes allow for all day access to the center.
Aquatics:
The Aquatic Center will no longer close for deep cleaning throughout the day. However, we will continue to observe two pool breaks per day as noted in the monthly facility & class schedule. The Adventure Cove will close during these pool breaks and all features will close. Swimmers can continue to swim laps in the Competition Pool lanes. Members and guests may remain on deck during the pool breaks.
Staff will periodically clean throughout the day. Sanitizer and cleaning wipes will be available for members and guests who wish to wipe furniture before use.
Heath & Wellness Center and FitGO Zone:
Health & Wellness and FitGO Zone will also cease deep cleaning sessions. Cleaning and sanitizing will be done throughout the day. Members and guests will be able to workout for the duration of our operating hours, excluding Kupuna hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12–1pm. Non-senior members are encouraged to use FItGO zone during Kupuna hours. Beginning July 1, Kupuna hours will be discontinued.
Group Fitness Classes:
Outdoor fitness class capacity will increase based on location and available equipment. Indoor fitness class capacity remains at (9) members and (1) instructor. Reservations continue to be required to participate in group fitness classes, and can be made online up to 25 hours in advance.
Kroc Cafe:
Kroc Cafe will be open to members and guests during the following days and times:
Cafe windows on the pool deck will also be open.
Effective Monday, June 21, 2021:
FitGO Zone and Indoor Sports Court:
Open volleyball and basketball will resume over half court in the Gymnasium. Reservations are not required. Member use will be on a first come, first serve basis. Pickup games will resume in July. Open court schedule for the month of June (ONLY) is as follows:

FitGO Zone will remain open for members Monday–Friday, 12–7pm
With the new City & County Emergency Order 2021-10 placing restrictions on "large, organized gatherings" in effect through September 22, and in light of COVID-19 cases increasing on 'Oahu, the Kroc Center has the following operations in place.

All other Church activities are considered "social gatherings" under the City & County's Emergency Order, and are subject to capacity maximums of 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors. These include Bible Studies, Membership Classes, Sunday's Children's Church*, Sunday Nursery, Fellowship groups, Youth groups, AA meetings, etc. Kroc Church staff will contact these specific groups directly with an update.
*Children's Church is on a first come, first serve basis.

Kroc Center Hawaii Programs
Parents waiting on child(ren) who are participants of our programs will be required to provide proof of vaccination or negative covid test results only if they remain within the indoor class for more than 15 minutes. Parents who choose to wait in outdoor spaces such as the courtyard are exempt from the Safe Access Oahu program requirements.
Additional details specific to each program will be communicated directly by the Program Manager via email.

The City & County of Honolulu's Safe Access Oahu, or Emergency Order 2022-01, will expire after March 5, 2022 at 11:59pm.
As of March 6, 2022, Kroc Center Hawaii will be implementing appropriate changes to the Safe Access Zones, although some protocols will remain in place. Providing a safe and healthy environment for members, guests and staff continue to be of utmost importance. Kindly be reminded, the State of Hawaii's mask wearing mandate is still in effect.
