Aquatics at the Kroc

Whether you're a competitive athlete or just like to wade, we've got something for everyone! The Aquatics Center offers group and private swim lessons, swim teams, lap and recreation swimming, and water-based group exercise classes. Our Aquatics department, complete with American Red Cross Certified lifeguards and trained swim lesson instructors, are dedicated to providing quality classes and training no matter what your age or ability.

Learn to Swim Lessons

Learning how to swim is a critical component of every child's development. At Kroc Center Hawaii, group swim lesson students are moved through five progressive levels of swim lessons as they accomplish new skills and abilities. Certified American Red Cross Instructors make swimming lessons fun and help students develop both swimming skills and self confidence.

Learn To Swim Class Schedule

Class length: Swim lessons typically consist of 8 classes per session (1x/week for 8 weeks)
Session Schedule: Sessions begin in the months of January, March, May, July, September, November
Registration deadline: Three days prior to the beginning of each session

Private Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lessons include six (6), 45 minute sessions, depending on the participants swim level and ability. All lessons must be completed in 8 weeks or less. Lessons are not transferable between students.

$300 for 1 instructor to 1 student
$450 for 1 instructor to 2 students (must be the same skill level)
10% discount is offered for Kroc Center members

Swim Teams

Kroc Swim Teams are based on experience and concentration. Swim try-outs are required to join.

Tadpoles - Ages 6+. Introduce young swimmers to the competitive world of sports and swimming.
Guppies - Ages 6+. Swimmers build swimming endurance and discipline.
Riptides - All ages. Focus is on freestyle, but all strokes are utilized.

Lifeguard Training: American Red Cross | Ages 15+
Community First aid & CPR course: American Red Cross | Ages 18+
Jr. Lifeguard Program | Grades 6–8, Offered seasonally
